SYSTEM 022 – DUAL-LINE
A
dual line lubrication system in composed of a central pump which supplies a
series of metering valves through two separate circuits: one of which acts as
lubrication supply line, while the other is being prepared to carry out
the same job afterwards. Between the metering valves (distributors) and
the pump is located a device commonly called line reversing valve which directs
the lubricant alternatively to the first or the second supply line. This device
can be mechanically, hydraulically, or electrically actuated. It’s common
opinion that the hydraulic simplicity on the system enables its use for heavy
duty applications, that is in case of high or very low temperatures, dust,
humidity or polluted environmental conditions. Lubricant: oil up to 3000cSt/40°C
viscosity or greases even very hard up to class 3.
